Anonymous postings have appeared in the school district newsletter of a "defamatory and threatening" nature. A sobpoena was issued to obtain the identities of the individuals involved. It turns out that 12 individuals have hired a lawyer to counter this action by the school district on the grounds that the proper procedure was not followed to request the information. Lawyer Stuart Moskovitz argues that the subpoena was ordered by the President of the school district in violation of the legal procedure of the case. In other words, the "defamatory" remarks are OK?
